waiting for adoption

Llamas Looking for Homes
DonateContact Us

On this page we list llamas and alpacas who require a new home

Please Note:  Due to experiences of llamas having to be rescued after being re-homed, The Llama Sanctuary operates a strict adoption process:

  • In order to be considered as a Forever Home, please complete the Adoption Form (link below);
  • Llamas and alpacas are re-homed the shortest possible distance, not on a first-come, first-served basis;
  • Adopters will be required to attend a half day, llama handling and care workshop;
  • Adopted llamas and alpacas shall not be sold or given away.  If care can no longer be provided they must come back to The Llama Sanctuary;
  • The Llama Sanctuary has had to introduce an adoption fee of $250/animal.
