Coherence or Distance Healing

Coherence healing is a practice where two or more people intentionally focus loving attention toward beings in need. Studies on heart-brain coherence (e.g., HeartMath Institute) show synchronized, heartfelt focus can measurably affect well-being. When multiple people tune in together, their coherent energy fields combine, greatly amplifying the healing potential. This isn’t some fuzzy spiritual philosophy, this is actual science!

When to Tune In:

Connecting at the same time as other healers amplifies the effect exponentially!  Therefore it is even more helpful to join in at the same time, even if you don’t know they are doing it.

Join us at:

8:00 am Pacific Time

8:00 pm Pacific Time

Or any time you feel called. Even a few minutes can make a difference!

How long do you need to sit? As long as you feel like it. If your mind is very restless then the connection is quickly broken. If you are able to bring your mind back to the target when it wanders, then you are doing really well and you are in control !

How to Help Heal from a Distance
  • Choose an animal from the gallery.

  • Look at their photo and read their story.

  • Sit quietly, breathe deeply, and imagine them healthy, happy, and whole.

  • Send your love or prayer for a few minutes or as long as you wish.

NOTES:

Many successful healers have learned that it is not necessary to keep looking at a picture or a name. If you look at the image for a few seconds or read the story and then sit quietly, still the mind and breathe slowly and evenly, the target or healee remains in your consciousness and receives your love and energy.

If your intention is to help someone then ‘Sending Love’ is AUTOMATIC when you connect to another Being. You don’t have to do anything else except be still and let the process unfold in a world invisible to our physical sight, but no less real. You don’t need to use your imagination to see energy going forth, just know that it is happening, because your intention ALWAYS precedes and carries your energy.

Amazingly, it has been demonstrated over and over again that when you set your intention to heal someone else, that healing comes right back to you! Healers typically feel really good after a session!

Most Critical Sanctuary Residents

Choose a llama or alpaca you would like to support

Llama Princess was attacked by a bear and severely injured. She has since developed osteoarthritis

Princess

Princess was left laying in a field for 3 days following a bear attack in September 2020.  Once aware of her plight, The Llama Sanctuary secured her surrender and was able to move her and provide emergency medical treatment.  She has since developed aggressive osteoarthritis.  She is nervous and extremely underweight.

Manna has been at The Llama Sanctuary for 18 years and is the longest servicing resident

Manna

Manna has been with The Llama Sanctuary since 2008.  She is experiencing severe osteoarthritis in her limbs and neck.  Manna does not interact with people and maintains her distance with her best friend Jewel

Larry the alpaca is suffering after a human kick left him with 2 dislocated vertebra and a damaged spinal cord

Larry

Larry seems to be the victim of domestic violence.  His neck is severely damaged with 2 vertebral joints luxated (dislocated).  X-ray images reveal the severity of the injury, but no vets are prepared to operate on him. Although the prognosis is very poor, homeopathic treatment and remote healing have provided remarkable relief and he is pain-free and walking.  He still cannot raise his head without compressing the spinal cord.  He needs more help!

Toby the llama loves corn on the cob. He can whittle that cob faster than anyone

Toby

Toby has suddenly become lame, experiencing muscle cramp and tetraparesis (paralytic weakness in all limbs).  Toby LOVES corn on the cob!

A most gentle and affectionate llama, Moji is a Sanctuary favourite

Moji

Moji is experiencing severe osteoarthritis in her hind quarters and is extremely underweight, which is typical for this condition.  She is one of the most gentle and affectionate llamas in The Sanctuary and will cuddle for carrots!  She still walks, but her hind end is very weak.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, ‘Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?’ Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”
