Margaret Falls

If you like hiking and have a couple of hours to spare, a short hike through ancient forest to Margaret Falls won’t leave you disappointed. It’s an easy 500m trail through the Reinecker Creek Canyon and it’s suitable for all ages. If you’re feeling energetic, you can continue up the canyon to take in the views.

Recline Ridge Winery

Leave The Llama Sanctuary and turn right. Thirty seconds later turn into Recline Ridge Winery for a trip and a sip. Llamas and wine. Could there be a better day out?

Huge ice cream cones are available at the Tappen Co-op very close to The Llama Sanctuary

Actually, if you literally want the cherry on the top of your visit to Tappen, stop off at the Tappen Co-op on the Trans-Canada Highway. They sell just about everything, including what is arguably the biggest and best ice cream cone in Canada! Apparently, it’s world famous.
